Frame your wall.
Layout the bottom and top plate on 24" centers.
Install siding while still on the floor.
Flush the top siding with the top plate.
Let the siding hang down 2" past the bottom plate.
After everything is nailed raise the wall.
I put a brace to hold it up while I nail the siding on the bottom to the band board using 6d nails.
Nail 12d nails on the inside bottom plate and into the floor.
Build the wall for the other side the same way and nail it in place.
